Spark by Hilton Murfreesboro

We traveled in the area to spend fun time with the grand kids at the pool. After check-in, I was told the pool is not operative. The receptionist also said the pool at their sister property is also closed. I booked thru Hilton and there was no mention of the pool closure. I later learnt that the hotel pool was never operative since the hotel opening earlier this year. Receptionist was very courteous and apologitic. She checked with other Hilton properties in the area if they will let us use their pool with no luck. She offered to checked me out without any penalties and I had to book another hotel for a premium rate.

When me and my mother entered the hotel for the night George at guest services was extremely kind to talk to and helpful. He offered us great recommendations around Murfreesboro to eat and provided us with outstanding information about the hotel and its services. I think when you enter a hotel the most important thing is to be greeted by a kind face. And George at guest services was very kind even offering extra blankets if we needed it. Overall I had a great experience at this hotel and next time I come to Murfreesboro this will be the one I will use.

The decor is updated but bath facilities are old. This is a converted hotel. Beds were very comfy. Room was not serviced, don't remember anything that said I had to request. Probably won't stay again, too many soccer teams.
